Some people say a lot of rude comments about teachers and other students. Some people are acting really immature and its soo frustrating trying to ignore them talk about all of the stuff. First off, if you don't already do this, start off my saying a simple "hello" in the morning. After a while, he'll notice and think "Why is she so interested in me?" To knock off the whole"Wow what a creep" feeling he might have before it comes to him, approach him, subtle. Not like, run up to him and say "HI" Just when you have a chance, get to know a little bit about him. For example, he likes computers and technology a little. Find some common ground, then make your move!

I can help. I've been through the same feelings hundreds of times. Have you already asked her if she still wants to be your friend? If you haven't, you should- Just approach her sometime while you're talking and say something along the lines of "Hey, I've noticed that we don't hang out as much anymore," or "Are you mad at me?" Explain to her how you're feeling- it doesn't do either of you any good not to talk it out. And no matter HOW cliche it sounds, remember- If your "friend" is willing to cut off a friendship for no reason, then maybe they're not really your "friend" to begin with.

you need to explain to people your just friends. Guys and Girls should both understand that guy and girl can just be friends without liking each other. you should show people it can happen. I like this guy. There’s only one catch; he lives in CONNECTICUT and I only see him for one weekend in the summer and sometimes for Thanksgiving. If the girl is a close friend of yours and you don't want to lose her then ask her if she would be alright with it first. Then if you get the "OK" see how the boy thinks of you. If he likes you then definitely ask him out. And don't push your friend to be okay with it if shes not then just be friends with the guy you like. This week I interviewed Mr. D.L.

Sam. O: Why did you decide to go into teaching?
Mr.D.L: I decided after I graduated from college.
Sam. O: How did you decide?
Mr. D.L: I had to find out what I wanted to do. I had a science minor, so first at a private school I was a science teacher.
Sam. O: What did you want to do when you were growing up?
Mr. D.L: I wanted to be a baseball player, because I played baseball when I was younger.
Sam.O: Where did you go to college?
Mr.D.L: I went to UNH for a BA bachelor for arts. I also went to Antioch for a masters degree in counseling.
Sam.O: Did you play any sports and if so what?
Mr.D.L: I played tennis and track in high school.
Sam.O: If you could have any other job, what would it be?
Mr.D.L: I would like to be a doctor, probably a general practitioner.
Sam.O: What is the best part of being a teacher?
Mr.D.L: Definitely, working with kids.
Sam.O: If you could interview anyone in the world, who would it be and why?
Mr.D.L: Paul McCartney. It would be cool to hear his life story of being a superstar.

Flatbreads
Flatbreads restruant is an amazing place. Like pizza? Want a little bit of a change? Flatbreads pizza doesn't only do just the normal cheese pizza. Some pizzas off the menu are a chicken, corn, and bean pizza, a cheese and herb pizza and a crazy special! Always something new and exiting, Flatbreads also has a great atmosphere. There is a open stone oven where they bake the pizzas, and a log infront so you can watch! A friendly family resturant, I give it a five out of five!

Christopher's Third Street Grill:

I went here about three weeks ago. I would say that this is one of the best resteraunts in Dover. It had excellent atmosphere and food was great. If I was to recomend two dishes here it would be the escargots and the chicken kiev. I give Christophers 3 out of 5 stars.

A classic in Durham- Libby's Bar and Grill on Main Street. I went here a few days ago and had the pesto pasta. It comes with garlic bread and it's incredible. But that's just me- I'll give Libby's a 4/5 stars.
-The pineapple glazed salmon at libby's is good too!

Myanmar Cyclone's Devestation Rivals Tsunami

The cyclone in Myanmar (Burma) has been more destructive than the 2004 Tsunami. The death tool is now at about 22,000, but the numbers are expected to ris another 41,000. Cyclone Nargis slammed Yangon (a delta city and one of Myanmar's major cities) with 12 foot waves and high winds. A spokes man from the United Nations World Food program said that one million people may have lost their homes. All of the phone connections and communication connections are down, so it is hard to know what the dammage really turned out to be.

Chinese Earthquake

On Monday May 12th, an earthquake struck in China. The earthquake affected 65,000 square kilometers or 6 cities and 44 counties. The death tool is currently about 32,000 and is expected to surpass the estimated 50,000. The earthquake first came in at a 7.8 magnitude on the Richter scale, but the revised magnitude is a staggering 8.0. The earthquake caused the severest destruction from an earthquake in 60 years. After the quake there was also a chemical leak which caused 600 recorded deaths, 81 of them being students. There is an estimated 2,300 still buried, 920 of them guessed to be students. On the 19th of May, there is to be a 3-day mourning for all of the people who lost their lives to the earthquake. For those 3 days, all of the flags in the provinces that were affected will fly their flags at ½ mast, and all public activities will be suspended. This suspension of activities also includes the Olympic torch relay.

Food Crisis in 22 countries

Severe food crisis threatens 22 countries. When there is very little food, chronic hunger is caused. Eritria, Niger, Haiti, and Liberia are the most affected countries. The other countries affected are Eritrea, Burundi, Comoros, Tajikistan, Sierra Leone, Liberia, Zimbabwe, Ethiopia, Haiti, Zambia, Central African Republic, Mozambique, Tanzania, Guinea-Bissau, Madagascar, Malawi, Cambodia, North Korea, Rwanda, Botswana, Niger, Kenya. A lot of these countries are in Africa. All of the countries affected by the food crisis have to have food and feul imported. Food and feul prices have soared in the last year, so providing these necesities has become harder and harder for helping countries. The end to this hardship is not yet in sight. The crisis has caused riots in Haiti, Egypt and Somalia this year. A meeting in Rome will discuss how the food crisis should and will be worked through so that countries stop suffering.

9/11 suspect, I wish to be martyred

Two Al Qaeda's accused in the planning and attack of 9/11 announced to a military judge that they wished to be martyred. Being martyred is when you give up your life for the reason of God. The announced that they had wanted to be martyred for years. They said "If I'm killed, I will be killed for the sake of God." Muhhamad, one of the 9/11 masterminds said that he was responsiable for the attacks from "A to Z". The trial for the two are schedualed for September, but officials say that the trial may be further delayed.
